Mary Brown (Sheree) is excited to be returning to the Civic Theatre after a seven year break. Her last show at GRCT was
Blood Relations in 2005 as Emma. Other Civic shows include:
Dearly Departed (2004) as
Lucille and Night of the Iguana (2003) as Frau Fahrenkopf. She most recently played Old Kate in Circle Theatre's
Treasure Island this past summer. Other out of state credits include Annie Get Your Gun, I'm Not Rappaport, and
The Sound of Music – all in Rockford, Illinois. To God be the glory and many thanks to Jenn for all her patience.
Megan Carson (Lexie) is performing in her debut role at GRCT. She has gotten her kicks from theatre classes for a few years now. This is her first big production. She would like to thank her instructors and classmates for their guidance and good times. Zip! Zap! Zup! Most of all, she thanks her husband, Jim, who has always believed in seriously pursuing one's "hobbies".
Sandy Kirchinger (Jeri Neal) is pleased to be making her GRCT debut! As a kid she was in many productions at the Houston Music Theatre and the Oklahoma Theatre Center. In high school, some of her favorite roles included Madame Arcati in
Blithe Spirit and Ida in
See How They Run. Since returning to community theatre as an adult, Sandy has been Claree in
Steel Magnolias in Hastings, Lilliums in
Afraid of the Dark in Middleville and Rhonda in
'Til Death Do Us Part in Greenville. She was especially thrilled to play Helsa in Kalamazoo Civic Theatre's production of
The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 and, most recently, the Headmistress in
Welcome to Mitford at Master Arts Theatre. Thanks to Nancy for this wonderful opportunity.
Sue Ellen Pabst (Vernadette) is happy to be making her debut at GRCT; although she is no stranger to the stage she most recently directed, sponsored, and produced the Independent production of
Vagina Monologues. Other credits include:

Baby and the Bath Water,
Eleemosynary,
A Thurber Carnival and played Eunice in
A Street Car Named Desire – all at Bottom's Dream Theatre. Sue Ellen has also been a part of Flat River Community Theatre shows like
Agnes of God (Psychiatrist),
The Lion in Winter (Queen Eleanor), and

Karan Petkus (Dinah) is excited to be returning to the Civic stage having last appeared in
Our Town as a Townsperson in 2010. Other stage appearances include:
Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing (2006) as Mrs. Yarby,
The Sound of Music (2007) as Frau Schmidt and
Willy Wonka (2009) as Grandma Georgina. Aside from performing Karan is no stranger to helping out behind the scenes. She was recently the lead dresser for
Bye, Bye Birdie and was also the Lion's dresser for
The Wizard of Oz last season. Karan also was a dresser for
Hello Dolly (2011),
The Producers (2009) and
It's A Wonderful Life (2008). Karan is active in other community theatres as well such as
Top Dog/Under Dog (2009) at Actors' Theatre where she was part of the crew,
Alice in Wonderland (2010) as The White Queen and
How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (2011) at Circle Theatre. She is also involved in her college radio program and was in a GVSU film called "Melonheads."
